The certificate certifies that the manufacturer meets the requirements of Chapter 3 Part Four of the CCS Rules for Classification of Sea-Going Steel Ships, IEC 60092-350:2020 and IEC 60092-376:2017, and is capable of producing the listed products.
Approved Cable Types and Range
EPR insulated shipboard control cables: CKEPF family and CKEPJ family with /SC and /NC suffixes, 2 to 48 cores in 0.5mm2 to 2.5mm2; CKEF, CKEF80 and CKEF90 with /SA and /NA suffixes, 2 to 37 cores.
XLPE insulated shipboard control cables: CKJ family, CKJPF83 and CKJPF93 with /SC and /NC suffixes, 2 to 48 cores; CKJV, CKJV80, CKJV90, CKJV82 and CKJV92 with /SA and /NA suffixes.
XLPE insulated shipboard communication and instrumentation cables: CHJ86, CHJ96, CHJ85, CHJ95, CHJPF family, CHJPFP family, CHJPJ family and CHJPJP family with /SC and /NC suffixes, in pairs, triples and quads from 1P to 37P in 0.5mm2 to 2.5mm2.
Maximum conductor temperature 90°C, with SC, NC, SA and NA flame performance variants across the range.
Type Designation Guide
Per the certificate enclosure: CK for shipboard control cables and CH for shipboard communication and instrumentation cables; E for EPR insulation and J for XLPE insulation; F for polychloroprene rubber sheath or inner sheath, V for PVC(ST2), PJ for cross-linked polyolefin and PF for polyolefin SHF1 type compounds. Digit 8 for tinned or plain copper wire braid, 9 for galvanized steel wire braid armour. Outer sheath digits: 0 for no outer sheath, 2 for PVC(ST2), 3 and 6 for polyolefin SHF1 type, 5 for cross-linked polyolefin. Letter P designates pair screening with tinned wire, copper wire or aluminum foil; 1P, 1T and 1Q designate pairs, triples and quads. Trailing suffixes: SA for bunched flame retardant per IEC 60332-3-22:2018, NA for bunched flame retardant with fire resistance per IEC 60331-1/2 and IEC 60332-3-22 Category A, SC for bunched flame retardant low smoke halogen free, and NC adding fire resistance to the same halogen free low smoke construction.
Testing and Maintenance Requirements
Approval test reports include China National Centre for Quality Supervision and Test of Electric Wire and Cable reports CT12-2618-8 through CT12-2618-12 dated 19 September 2012 and CT16-3473-1 through CT16-3473-7 dated 19 September 2016. The certificate requires annual CCS surveillance audits within three months of each anniversary of the expiry date, with unannounced audits possible during the validity. An asbestos-free declaration has been reviewed by the Society.

Three manufacturing addresses are declared: the Tiankang Industry Park in the Chuzhou High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, the No.58 Tiankang Road facility, and the Changanzhong Road site in Tongcheng Town, all in Tianchang, Anhui Province.
